Dinnertime by pyro-helfier Dinnertime by pyro-helfier
I did not sculpt this.  It is a rare model kit that I have assembled and painted.  So happy to finally have this one in our collection.

Is there anywhere to buy this kit still?

No, it's been OOP for quite a while.  I got lucky and snagged this one off eBay, but I was shocked when I saw it up there.  It's pretty hard to find, so if you ever do come across one somewhere, get it while you can!

Yeah that's what I'd try.  You're probably better off just making your own if you are able to.

Japanese resin kits are something else when you get them painted & put together. Oops! I think I've fainted. Clap

Oh I didn't know he was Japanese.  It was a beautiful sculpt though, so much detail!  Thanks for commenting :D

I wasn't so sure myself, but I've seen Japanese-origin monster kits that were a lot like it. I haven't followed that type of model in years, I am lucky to get my Gunpla done well usually. :)

I know a lot of the really good Predator kits come from over there, and I have seen some other really cool monsters and Hellraiser stuff too.  I'm not sure about this guy though.. I think he's from the US.

I do remember now about some resin kit makers in the USA. Impressive then, I feel a little national pride coming on. :D

Thank you.  He was a lot of fun to do.  The sculpt was super detailed, I just tried to accentuate that. :)

Thanks a lot :D  Yours is nice too.  I like how you did the base and the eyes.  I think you're probably the only other person who could rival my fiance's werewolf model collection lol.  You have a few that we don't have yet, and we have a couple I haven't seen on your page either. :aww:

Ah cool.  I have seen this kit before but the paint scheme was rather dark so I really like that you chose to use the grey coloration.  It really allows the detail on this to show.  I actually didn't think the kit was this good until I saw your version of it.

Thanks so much!  That is a really nice compliment.:aww:  Yeah the detail in the sculpt was insane!  Up close, the skin even had texture that looked like pores and stuff.  The paint scheme was inspired by the grey werewolf in Van Helsing. :)

Thank you.  I usually end up painting the claws on things all black, so I wanted to try something different.

Thanks :D  It's been out of production for a long time.  We'd actually been trying to find one for years, we just happened to get lucky and come across an unbuilt one.  You're right, it was a lot of fun to paint though!

Well you never know-  maybe someday they will re -issue it.  That does happen sometimes with old kits.  We can only hope!  IF that ever happened I would definitely try to snag a 2nd one too!
